The Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Expo "SCC Smart Living Pavilion" showcased a new generation of smart living technology integrating AI

(April 9, 2026) At the "2026 Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition" held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 13 to 16, the Smart City Alliance (SCC) will set up a "Smart Living Pavilion," showcasing a new generation of smart living technologies integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and technologies to prevent AI from becoming a criminal weapon.

SCC President Yang Wenrui stated that AI benefits people by integrating IoT, data, and technology to change how we live, work, and interact with our surroundings. Within the "Smart Living Pavilion" of the Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Exhibition, there will be an integrated smart platform using geographic information systems as the digital foundation, enabling urban innovators to simulate community systems and optimize public resources within a digital twin environment; There is also a smart property management solution that seamlessly connects residential, commercial, and clubhouse facilities to a secure cloud-based architecture; There is also an enhanced early fire detection system that enhances prevention to make buildings safer; There is also a one-stop platform designed to address cross-border trade challenges through advanced technology.

Chairman Yang pointed out that besides providing convenience in daily life, AI has also been transformed into actual productivity, optimizing efficiency and allowing staff to handle daily tasks with ease; Inside the SCC "Smart Living Pavilion," visitors can see a system that can search and organize complex data within minutes, analyze, and output business plans.

While smart living relies on AI, everyone must also ensure cybersecurity defenses to prevent hacker hijacking and privacy violations. The "Smart Living Pavilion" will showcase systems that protect personal and corporate data security, including a one-stop encrypted data storage centered on a digital treasury, asset trading, and encrypted computing integrated digital financial system to effectively prevent hacker hijacking and data leaks. Additionally, there are AI system penetration testing technologies and evidence investigation techniques that carefully unravel and accurately restore the truth of incidents when maliciously hijacked by hackers and invading privacy.
